Get started with Sophosic™ in just a few minutes. This guide covers everything you need to know for your first conversation and beyond.

No account required! You can start using Sophosic immediately as an anonymous user. Your conversations are private and stored locally.

Your First Conversation

Open Sophosic

Visit sophosic.ai  in your web browser. You’ll see the chat interface ready to use.

Type Your Message

Enter any question or request in the message box. For example:

Help me write a professional email to reschedule a meeting

Get Your Response

Sophosic will respond in real-time with streaming text. You’ll see the response appear word-by-word as the AI thinks.

Continue the Conversation

Ask follow-up questions! Sophosic remembers the context of your conversation:

Sophosic offers different modes to customize AI behavior:

Think Longer (Reasoning Effort)

Enable Think Longer for complex tasks that benefit from deeper analysis:

Minimal Reasoning

  • Quick, straightforward answers
  • Best for: Simple questions, definitions, basic information
  • Speed: Fastest

Higher reasoning modes take longer but provide more thoughtful, nuanced responses. Use them for tasks where quality matters more than speed.

Enable Web Search to get current information from the internet:

  • Real-time data (news, weather, stock prices)
  • Recent events and updates
  • Product information and reviews
  • Current research and publications

Uploading Files

Share documents with Sophosic for analysis:

Click the Attachment Icon

Look for the paperclip icon next to the message input box.

Select Your File

Supported formats:

  • Documents: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD
  • Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF
  • Data: CSV, JSON, XML

Maximum size: 20MB per file

Add Your Question

Type what you want to know about the file:

Get Analysis

Sophosic will read and analyze your file, then respond with insights.

Security: Your uploaded files are secure and private. They’re only used for your current conversation and automatically deleted after processing.

While you can use Sophosic anonymously, creating an account unlocks powerful features:

  • Create a secure password (min. 8 characters)
  • Verify your email (check your inbox)

Transfer Anonymous Sessions (Optional)

If you started as an anonymous user, Sophosic automatically offers to transfer your conversations when you sign up. All your history comes with you!

Complete Your Profile

Add optional details:

  • Display name
  • Profile photo
  • Preferences
  • Timezone
